About Zuma Massage in Eagle, Idaho
In 2007, Russell attended Massage Therapy School at the Intermountain Institute of Natural Health in Twin Falls, Idaho. The course gave him an introduction to Swedish Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, as well as Oriental Meridian work and Tui-na, an ancient Chinese form of massage and energy work. Russell graduated Top of his Class with Highest Honors and a 4.0 GPA after completing nearly 800 hours of schooling at the Milan Institute School of Massage Therapy in Nampa, Idaho.
Russell is one of the first Massage Therapists to receive licensure in the State of Idaho. In fact he was the ninth person in the state to become officially Licensed by the Idaho Board of Massage Therapy.
Russell believes it is important to increase his knowledge and skills, making it possible for him to serve his clients better each time they return. He has earned his National Certification for massage therapy. This Certification represents the highest credential in massage, adding reassurance of credibility to clients. The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB ) is an independent, private, nonprofit organization that was founded in 1992 to establish a certification program and uphold a national standard of excellence. Today, there are nearly 90,000 nationally certified massage therapists and bodyworkers safely and competently serving millions of Americans each year.
Russell is also a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapist Association) which has long been the leading choice among massage therapists looking to establish themselves within the profession.
